French cafe illustration.
I was inspired to do this illustration after high tea at Cape Lavender. Just a "little" bit of creative license happening.

Down by the river.
Last weekend my husband raced into the house to tell me that the light on the river looked beautiful. Quick grab your camera. So off we went and this is the result.

Cape Lavender.
Today we went to the Cape Lavender cafe in the Swan Valley. We enjoyed the ambience, tranquility and of course the famous lavender scones. Thanks Pascal for looking after such a large group of hungry, noisy people.

An old Perth home.
I just love this old Perth home. It has not changed in years, I hope it never does.

Paintings ....keeping it in the family.
Below are two painting work from my very talented sisters. All four sisters are qualified graphic designers. Two sisters are artists/illustrators, one now works in the Rag Trade and I work as a graphic designer. Our mother is very artistic too. She enjoys painting, writing and music. I guess it is no wonder we are all lovers of art.

Design Competition.
I entered a design competition. Sadly I did not win. It was for dare I say it, perhaps I should whisper it..... Moxie tampons. The black bar across the top and the black bow were essential elements of the design and had to be displayed as shown below. I used a decorative element that I created about 12 months ago when I was designing some wedding invitations. All the participants were sent a thank you present in the mail which was lovely. Can you guess what it was? You can see the final 5 to be voted on by visiting http://www.facebook.com/MoxiePowderRoom

Flower's - Mother Day inspiration.
I could not resist photographing these flowers. Gorgeous colours. I was out shopping when I saw them and had to race home and get my camera.
I saw this absolutely superb display of flowers for Mother's Day. I just loved the colours and the softness. The florist was selling fresh roses in a tea cup too which I thought was a very cute idea. See the photo bottom right. Happy Mother's Day to my lovely Mum. Don't forget your present is on top of the fridge. No peeping until Sunday.
