Just love this ad for the classic Ford car. Imagine driving off into the sunset in that! I think it is a 1966 Fairlane. Someone might be able to confirm this?

Currently enjoying a fashionable revival... the brooch. During the past few seasons more and more brooches are turning up on runways and the red carpet. The big difference being that they are more versatile now. They are being worn in different ways for example in the hair, on handbags, pinned to the waist of a dress or scattered over jackets. Go crazy.

Leopard print.

Leopard print is timeless. It never goes out of style. For nearly the past century, women have been wearing the exotic print with no signs of letting up, although now days fake fur is preferred as a stand against animal cruelty.
One of the first people to popularize leopard in fashion was Marian Nixon, American film actress, who in 1925, had a coat made to match her pet leopard. Fur coats made from actual leopards became the rage throughout the 1930s and 40s.
However, it wasn't until 1947 that leopard as a print, rather than a fur, became fashionable. Christian Dior is credited with this transition in his 1947 Spring-Summer Collection in which he created two pieces; a silk-chiffon evening gown called "Afrique" and a day dress called "Jungle."

The synthetic fabrics of the 1960s allowed space age fashion designers to design garments with bold shapes and a plastic texture. Non-cloth material, such as polyester and PVC, became popular in clothing and accessories as well.
