Stones photograph.

I had seen a photograph recently of stones placed in a circle that I really liked. I thought I would like to do something similar.... "one day".  A few days later I was out walking and found five perfect, smooth, round stones. They must have been dropped there by somebody because they were totally different to any of the other stones laying on the ground. I was delighted and took them home to photograph. Sometimes things just happen. Funny what makes someone happy. Most people would probably wonder why on earth five little stone could be such a great find and source of joy.

I met the girls for coffee at Picillo's cafe today.Very cute. I have been meeting with the same four girls for about 20 years. We go to a different cafe each time. One of the girls is unwell at the moment and has not been able to make the last 3 coffee dates, so today I took photos of us at the cafe and emailed them to her so she can still share the experience.

I have been working on a new range of wedding stationery for my folio. I have been focused on my classic range, but I will now start working on some contemporary designs. I created the decorative element myself so it is completely original.

Blog disaster!!!!

OMG..... not happy. I decided to take a look at the new blog templates and have now lost my original layout...so sorry to my followers. Hopefully I will be back to my standard format soon. I really don't like having my font in a serif face, way too large and orange headings!!!! Cringe. Not to mention that my Esani header has disappeared. I need wine.

No more Lemon Tart.

OMG....never again. I have just made an "easy no failure" lemon tart. I am exhausted. Why do people enjoy cooking? I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go and buy the ingredients and beat the easter rush. (I am that tired I just wrote xmas rush instead of easter). Then an hour and a half to cook followed by half an hour washing a massive pile of dishes I could not jump over, just for a little lemon tart. I almost don't want to eat it. I want to keep it and look at it. Next time I am going to buy one. Sorry friends. Cooking is just not my thing. I will stick with design for my creative outlet.

Easter lunch.

We are having some friends over for easter lunch so that gave me a good excuse to go and buy some new placemats and wine glass's. I revamped a design I used at xmas time to make the place cards. After lunch the guys or should I say "boys" are going to drag out the scaletrix set and have some fun. Do I need to get earplugs? The girls will do what they do best....talk and eat and drink!

Today we went to the Angove Festival in North Perth. It was great. I have never seen so many cup cakes in one place before in every colour you could imagine. Yum. I photographed some wall art on the shop frontage below. They had also provided some long columns with black and white illustrations on for the kids to colour in. I should have got a before and after shots.
