No more Lemon Tart.

OMG....never again. I have just made an "easy no failure" lemon tart. I am exhausted. Why do people enjoy cooking? I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go and buy the ingredients and beat the easter rush. (I am that tired I just wrote xmas rush instead of easter). Then an hour and a half to cook followed by half an hour washing a massive pile of dishes I could not jump over, just for a little lemon tart. I almost don't want to eat it. I want to keep it and look at it. Next time I am going to buy one. Sorry friends. Cooking is just not my thing. I will stick with design for my creative outlet.

Easter lunch.

We are having some friends over for easter lunch so that gave me a good excuse to go and buy some new placemats and wine glass's. I revamped a design I used at xmas time to make the place cards. After lunch the guys or should I say "boys" are going to drag out the scaletrix set and have some fun. Do I need to get earplugs? The girls will do what they do best....talk and eat and drink!

Today we went to the Angove Festival in North Perth. It was great. I have never seen so many cup cakes in one place before in every colour you could imagine. Yum. I photographed some wall art on the shop frontage below. They had also provided some long columns with black and white illustrations on for the kids to colour in. I should have got a before and after shots.
