Painting.

My sister very, very kindly gave us one of her paintings. We are delighted. We love her work and are very proud to have it on our wall. The only problem is my husband would love to hang it in the lounge and I like it in the entrance. We might have to flip a coin.

Valentines Day.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYBODY….especially lovely Pete!
I am really busy today with design jobs and I am photographing flowers for fun! Well it is Valentines Day and it only happens once a year, and it is my thing I do every year. That should make it justifiable?  Now back to work.

Post card from Budapest.

I was looking through my photographs for something to post onto my blog this evening.  I came across this beautiful postcard from Budapest which I purchased to send to my sister in Melbourne. I liked it so much I photographed it before I sent it to her. Actually I bought one for all 3 of my sisters. All vintage fashion shots but slightly different. I will post the others later. I still remember sitting in the cafe enjoying a wonderful sunny afternoon and a delicious coffee. I love to look through my photos to remember the special times. The second photo is of the cafe I was sitting in when I took the photos. Great memories.

Australia Day.

Another Australia Day and another hot, hot, hot day in Perth. Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on 26 January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships at Sydney CoveNew South Wales, and raising of the Flag of Great Britain at that site by Governor Arthur Phillip. It is notoriously boiling hot on Australia Day and this year has been no exception, in fact the whole week has been insanely hot. Not fun. Roll on winter.

Bandicoot.

Another hospital illustration. The Burns Unit required an illustration of a bandicoot in bandages and carrying a relay barton. I am not sure why other than it is a fund raising project. It is funny working in a children's hospital I get to do all sorts of fun jobs. I would not have imagined I would ever have been asked to draw a bandicoot.

Bullying.

A second illustration from the booklet that I am working on.  It is in part about bulling of children. The booklet is about a lot more than just bullying but that helps explain this particular illustration.
