Car show.

I helped out a friend on his coffee stand at Big Al's car day on Saturday. It was a fun day but quite exhausting. My friends coffee business is called Essenza which is Italian for aroma. He has been roasting his own coffee for years. His next venture is a Ap'e coffee scooter which he will be using for the first time next week. I will have to get a photo of that. It is pretty cute. Photo techniques.

We have had a vase of withered old roses sitting on a table for a few weeks now. Even though they were completely dead I thought they looked fantastic and just could not throw them out. Today I decided it was time for them to go but not before taking a photo. I tried some photographic techniques and I really liked the result. So sadly the flowers have gone now but the memory remains.

Coffee

My friend has a coffee roasting business and recently purchased an original Ape i.e a little scooter coffee van. It is so cute. It is an original 1950's Italian scooter which has undergone a major restoration and now looks amazing. To compliment the Italian style delicious affogatos will be served from the cart along with coffee "of course" and nougat. All my favourite things. I have designed a poster to advertise the affogatos. I will post of pic of the coffee cart when it is up and running.

Australia Day.

We celebrated Australia Day in Fremantle last night with friends. It was a lovely evening. Not so lovely today though. 38 degrees expected. It is going to be ones of those days to hide away indoors with the air con on. Big fireworks on tonight but not even that is going to encourage me out.

Photo room.

My husband is preparing for a photo exhibition. I had a peek into his studio and I thought his room made a great photo in it's self.  As you can see he loves aeroplanes, not to mention cars. The car stuff is on the other side of the room. That will be a photograph for another day. He has some wonderful photos. I am looking forward to his exhibition.
