Print and Pattern.

Just messing around.....

A bit of colour.

Funny how you get runs on jobs. At the moment it is bookmarks. It was a restrictive brief because there are only certain colours and typefaces I could use to comply with the corporate identity. I think it will be noticed though.

Medical illustration of the pelvis and lower limbs.

Now here is something a bit different. A medical illustration. I am trying to get more of this sort of work so thought I would post a sample. This is a very simple black and white line drawing which I produced for a medical information leaflet.

A heart stone.

While I was away in Tasmania I bought a few of these beautiful stone hearts for friends. They are supposed to bring happiness and inner peace. I was hoping they were Tasmanian stone but unfortunately not..... I still think they were cute though. It's the thought that counts.

Old and new.

I photographed this building in Melbourne and liked the contrast of old and contemporary. Unusual combination but works well I thought.

Teddy's tea party.

I have been working on a burns prevention poster for children and this is my initial illustration.

Chapel Street Bazar.

This is the window display of the Chapel Street Bazar in Melbourne. It is a beautiful collection of retro objects. I have a fur coat just like the one on the mannequin. Living in Perth I don't get to wear it very often, but I love it and wouldn't part with it. Last time I wore it was to an "Op Shop Glamour" birthday party.

Cute gift shop.

We visited a gorgeous gift shop in Launceston. It was an entire house with rooms full of lovely gifts and objects d art. I promised myself I was going to remember the name of the shop....but no..... it did not make it's way into my memory banks. Well maybe it did, but it didn't stay there. I should have written it down.

Sisters painting.

This is another sisters home. I have 3 sisters... all arty. All with graphic design qualifications, although not all working in that field. This is one of Chris's (Bellamy) fabulose paintings which will be in her next exhibition on the 21st of June.

Little lonely house.

This is a little house I photographed on our tour around Tasmania. Beautiful, beautiful countryside.
A photographers heaven.

Collection of 50's/60's ornaments.

This is a small sample of my sisters collection of vintage ornaments displayed beautifully in her newly renovated kitchen.

Favourite photo.

This is one of my favourite photos from Tasmania,
and no, this is not our camper van. Pretty cool though.

I'm back.

yahhhhh..... I'm back. Had a wonderful, wonderful holiday travelling around Tasmania in a camper van and spending time in Melbourne with my sisters and their families. It is funny, whenever I tell anybody that I lived in a camper van for 10 days their first reaction is to laugh and say they can not imagine me doing that. It was actually great fun.. although I must say it is good to get back to my creature comforts and routine. Time to catch up on my blogging now.
